My method
You can register by phone, by email or through the contact form. After your registration I will contact you as soon as possible. A referral letter is not needed.
Are you curious about what hypnotherapy can mean for you? You can start with a free introductory conversation. This can take place in person, by video call or by phone and takes up to 30 minutes.
During this conversation we discuss your request for help and your goals. It is important that you feel at ease and have confidence in me and my method, because trust is the basis for successful therapy.
If the conversation feels right for both of us, we can continue with an intake conversation or plan a first session shortly afterwards.

Intake conversation
The therapy starts with an intake conversation, in which we discuss in detail what you are struggling with and where you need support. What do you want to change? What do you want to achieve? The answers to these questions form the starting point of the treatment.
There is room to ask questions about the therapy. If desired, I can briefly guide you into hypnosis during this conversation, so you can experience how pleasant and natural this state of relaxation feels.
Based on the intake, I prepare a personal treatment plan that is fully tailored to your request for help.
During the trajectory I help you bring underlying patterns and processes into view, so we can work towards lasting and positive change.
How do sessions work?
Every trajectory is different. The number of sessions varies per client and depends on the complaint. An average session takes about 1.5 hours, including a short conversation before and after. The techniques I use are always discussed with you.
Everything discussed during the sessions is strictly confidential. As a certified therapist, I am bound by professional confidentiality and the ethical code of the NBVH. Mutual trust and respect are important for successful therapy. In my practice, the relationship is equal and based on trust and respect.
The frequency of treatment depends on the nature of the complaint. At the start, appointments may be closer together because something is being initiated. Once the therapy is underway, it is often possible to plan more time between appointments.
The duration of treatment depends on the nature and complexity of your request for help.
Working hours
My working days are Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. Appointments outside these days are possible by mutual agreement.
My home practice is located at Kapelland 18, 2264 HX Leidschendam.

Complaints procedure
I do everything I can to offer help in a careful and respectful way. Still, it may happen that you are not satisfied or have a complaint. The first step is to talk to me about it. We discuss what you are running into and what you would like to be different. If we really cannot resolve it together, you can contact the complaints committee of the NBVH.
